Thama Teaser: ‘Reh Paogi Mere Bina…’ What’s Stopping Ayushmann Khurrana, Rashmika Mandanna’s Love? Malaika Arora’s Cameo Confirmed!

The teaser for Thama, a vampire-themed love story starring Ayushmann Khurrana and Rashmika Mandanna, was released Tuesday, giving fans a first look at the latest addition to the Maddock Horror-Comedy Universe. The teaser also confirms a special appearance by Malaika Arora in a dance number.

What’s In Thama Teaser?

The one-minute-forty-nine-second teaser opens with Khurrana asking, “Reh paaogi mere bina, 100 saal tak?” Mandanna responds, “100 saal kya, ek pal ke liye bhi nahi.” The teaser then reveals glimpses of a mysterious forest, action scenes, romantic sequences, and dramatic visuals.

Directed by Aditya Sarpotdar, known for Munjya (2024), Thama is set to release in theaters this Diwali.
Malaika Arora appears briefly in a glamorous dance sequence, adding to the film’s visual appeal.

Nawazuddin Siddiqui is introduced as Yakshasan, “the king of darkness.” His appearance, though brief, has drawn praise from fans online for its impact.

The film marks the fourth installment in the Maddock Horror-Comedy Universe after Stree (2018), Bhediya (2022), Munjya (2024), and Stree 2 (2024).

Maddock Films Also Unveiled Character Posters Recently

The character posters released earlier revealed Khurrana as Alok, “the final hope of humanity,” Mandanna as Tadaka, “the first ray of light,” and Siddiqui as Yakshasan.

Fans on social media have responded positively to the teaser, praising its visuals, music, and cast. Many expressed curiosity about how Thama will connect with the Stree universe.

Produced by Dinesh Vijan’s Maddock Films, Thama blends romance, horror, and fantasy, continuing the studio’s trend of successful genre-crossing films.
