One fan-favourite is Jaraj Saxena, played by Rajat Bedi. His comic timing and charm made him stand out. Now, Rajat has confirmed that Season 2 is on the way. He told News18, “Yes, season two is happening. It’s in the works. I’m hopeful that audiences are going to see more of me in the second season.”

Rajat also shared how he got the role. “Aryan was very sure that he wanted only me for the role. If I didn’t do it, he wouldn’t have this character in the show. I was so overwhelmed. But he had me at hello. I was getting an opportunity with SRK’s son and that too in his first venture. This show is going to go down in history.”

The Bads Of Bollywood: Plot, Cast, Budget And Reviews

The Bads of Bollywood follows Aasmaan Singh (Lakshya Lalwani). His debut film becomes a surprise hit, and then he is suddenly pulled into the chaotic world of Bollywood. The show explores rivalries, producers and power struggles with sharp humour. It pokes fun at nepotism, celebrity culture and the craziness behind the glamour.

The cast also includes Bobby Deol, Sahher Bambba, Mona Singh, Anya Singh, Gautami Kapoor and Manoj Pahwa. Karan Johar, Emraan Hashmi and other Bollywood stars appear in fun cameo roles.

Though the full budget is not public, it was reportedly a big production. As per the reports, Aryan Khan earned around Rs 10–12 crore for his roles as creator, director, and co-writer. Lead actor Lakshya received Rs 2–3 crore, Raghav Juyal earned Rs 2–2.5 crore, and Sahher Bambba and Anya Singh got Rs 1.5–2 crore each. Supporting actors earned smaller amounts, around Rs 80 lakh. The high fees reflect the premium scale of the show.

Viewers are divided over the series. Many praise its humour, clever cameos, and Aryan Khan’s direction. Rajat Bedi’s performance and the production quality have been highlighted as strong points. Some critics felt the story was predictable and uneven. They said a few cameos felt forced, and the show sometimes lacked emotional depth. Romantic subplots did not land well for some and certain characters feel underdeveloped.
