Prime Video unveiled the trailer at a grand event in Mumbai. It opens with Srikant finally confessing to his family that he’s a spy. His son innocently asks if he has a cool code name like “Tiger” or “Panther,” to which Srikant wittily replies, “I work in intelligence, not in a circus.” From that moment, it’s clear that this season is going to balance suspense and satire like never before.
But the story quickly turns dark. Srikant (once the protector) is now the hunted. A nationwide manhunt is underway after he is falsely accused and declared a wanted criminal. As he goes on the run with his family, his loyal colleague JK Talpade (Sharib Hashmi) joins him once again. The duo adds comic relief in the midst of chaos. Their chemistry (as hilarious as ever) remains one of the highlights. In a scene that fans are already loving, JK shouts in frustration, blaming Srikant for his dying single. Srikant calmly replies, “Once we get out of here, I’ll supervise your matchmaking.”
The trailer also introduces new faces and fresh danger. Jaideep Ahlawat enters the series as a ruthless drug lord from India’s Northeast. Nimrat Kaur plays a cunning antagonist named Meera.
