Salman Khan will be the first guest on Season 3 of The Great Indian Kapil Show, streaming June 21, 2025, on Netflix. The actor is set to appear in the premiere episode, where he’ll bring his trademark humour to the stage as Bollywood’s Sikandar.

He’ll join Kapil Sharma, Archana Puran Singh, and Navjot Singh Sidhu on the show’s famous couch. The promo teased jokes about Salman’s bachelor life, box office chatter, and a cheeky comment about being “snatched” by Netflix as the first guest.

Ahead of the season 3 premiere, here’s a look at first guests from the past two seasons

The Great India Kapil Show Season 1 Opened With Ranbir Kapoor And Family

Season 1 launched on March 30, 2024, and featured Ranbir Kapoor, his mother Neetu Kapoor, and sister Riddhima Kapoor Sahni as the opening guests. Ranbir brought light-hearted memories of his late father, Rishi Kapoor, whom he called the “original troll” in their family.

He shared that Rishi Kapoor had a nightly routine of prank-calling his own sister just to tease her, which became a running family joke. Ranbir Kapoor said, “It became a family tradition.” He also remembered how a stern look from his father could reduce him to tears during meals. The episode set a warm and humorous tone for the rest of the season.

Alia Bhatt And Jigra Team Graced Season 2

Season 2 started streaming on September 21, 2024, with Alia Bhatt, Karan Johar, Vedang Raina, and director Vasan Bala on the couch. The episode promoted Alia’s film Jigra but also shared intimate glimpses of her family life.

Alia spoke about how Ranbir sings a Malayalam lullaby, “Unni Vaavavo,” to their daughter Raham which was taught by their nurse. Alia revealed, “She asks for Vaavavo when she wants to sleep.”

She also mentioned her mother’s quirky tradition of singing a snack song while changing diapers, something passed down from her own childhood. The anecdotes gave fans a look into their playful parenting style.
