The Kapil Sharma Show: The cast of Gangs of Wasseypur came to the comedy reality show to celebrate the 10th anniversary of their film. Pankaj Tripathi, Manoj Bajpayee, Piyush Mishra, Anurag Kashyap and Huma Qureshi came to talk about their journey of making the Gangs of Wasseypur franchise. The team revealed some secrets from the sets of the film. Pankaj Tripathi praised Anurag Kashyap for his secret shooting of Gangs of Wasseypur and Manoj Bajpayee revealed the secret behind Anurag Kashyap’s successful films.

Pankaj Tripathi recalling the moments as he said, “Hum log scene kar rahe the aur vo real log the humare barabar mein. Inhone camera upar chhupa diya aur humko bola ki jao scene karo. Humare bagal walo ko pata hi nahi hai ki shooting chal rahi hai.” Anurag Kashyap said, ‘Humare paas budget nahi tha aur humne rules padhe hain toh pata chala ki aap camera zameen pe utaara toh aapko permission leni padegi, upar aap chahe jaise marzi shoot karo toh maine socha agar main chhupake shoot karun toh poora shehar hi mera set hai…….Ab mujhe set dete hain toh main confuse ho jaata hoon.”
Manoj Bajpayee also praised Anurag Kashyap and revealed the secret behind the success of his films by saying, “Anurag Kashyap ek aisa aadmi hai jisko agar sab kuch uske hath mein de doge toh sabse ghatiya film banayega. Jab tak takleef na ho….jab tak gareebi na ho. Bahaut mushkil se location pe jaane ke liye mil raha hai…ek gaadi mein 6-7 log bhare hue hain. Anurag Kashyap ke sath kaam karoge toh aapko create karna padega.”
