Hrithik Roshan is setting social media on fire just days before the release of his upcoming action film War 2. A shirtless pool video from his training sessions has gone viral, which is a complete “thirst trap.”
The clip was shared by Purpose Studios on Instagram and the actor too. It shows Hrithik in a swimming pool during his War 2 prep. Filmed in slow motion, it captures him pausing mid-workout, water glistening on his chiselled frame. Purpose Studios described the moment as “quiet, unfiltered,” but the internet has plenty to say.

Hrithik Roshan Gears Up For War 2
In War 2, Hrithik returns as super spy Kabir. The film releases on August 14 in Hindi, Telugu, and Tamil. Directed by Ayan Mukerji, it co-stars Jr NTR, making his Bollywood debut, alongside Kiara Advani.
Recently, the film’s makers decided to trim its runtime from 183 minutes to 170 minutes, even after securing clearance from the Central Board of Film Certification (CBFC) on August 6. A source revealed to a popular media outlet, “There has been a significant 13-minute reduction… The shorter theatrical cut is now much more aligned with the makers’ original vision.”
The post-credit scene is said to feature Shah Rukh Khan, Salman Khan, Alia Bhatt, and Sharvari in one frame. It will be submitted separately for certification this week.
War 2 Advance Booking
Even before its big-screen debut, War 2 is already making noise at the North American box office. Advance ticket sales for its premiere have crossed USD 308,000 (Rs 2.69 crore), with the USA contributing USD 286,000 from over 10,000 tickets sold across more than 1,800 shows.
In the past 24 hours alone, the film added USD 42,000 to its tally. Trade experts say the buzz is growing among both the Indian diaspora and action film lovers abroad.
Limited advance bookings in India open today. The reported sales target is around 3.5 lakh tickets.
