Delhi NCR Weather Update

Delhi-NCR experienced heavy rain in the morning of Rakshabandhan, which relieved the heat. Still, of course, this led to waterlogging in several parts of the city, congested roads, and flight delays. Hours of rainfall have been experienced in the city, and the weather department indicates that more rain is to be experienced in the coming few days.

Rainy Morning in Delhi-NCR

Delhi-NCR saw heavy rain in the morning of Rakshabandhan, which not only helped in reducing the heat but also caused inconvenience to commuters. Vasant Kunj, R.K. Puram, Connaught Place, and Minto Bridge recorded constant showers. The Panchkuian Marg was heavily hit by waterlogging.

Traffic Jams Across the City

In some areas of Delhi, it created traffic chaos because of the rain. In regions around AIIMS and the Barapullah Bridge, the traffic flow was very slow as there was flooding. Most major roads were flooded, and this caused severe delays in both public and private transport.

Flights Delayed Due to Bad Weather

Several flights at the Delhi Airport were delayed due to poor visibility and non-stop rain. The authorities have advised people to check the flight status before leaving their homes.
