Hania plays Maheer, who falls in love with a wealthy young guy played by Zaviyar. While her cousin Saad has loved her since childhood and is always there for her. Saad is always available to her and her family. When Maheer falls in love with someone else, she urges Saad to lie to the rest of the family and say he doesn’t want to marry her. Saad lies for Maheer’s sake, despite his own pain. Saad’s family believes it is also his fault.

On the wedding day, however, Maheer is abandoned by her soon-to-be husband. Saad is asked to marry Maheer in order to save the family’s honour. The story continues with Maheer, who has a broken heart and ignores Saad. Mujhe Pyaar Hua Tha is one of Hania Aamir’s most popular dramas.
