The trailer of Vicky Kaushal’s film ‘Sardar Udham’ has been released. Not only Vicky looking great in the trailer of this Sardar Udham Singh biopic, but it looks like he is all set to do another blast after ‘Uri: The Surgical Strike’.

The film stars Vicky Kaushal in the lead role, while the direction is by Shoojit Sircar. Udham Singh became such a revolutionary in the history of India who had reached London to avenge the Jallianwala Bagh massacre. Vicky Kaushal made an interesting disclosure at the film’s trailer release event on Thursday. He told that he was badly injured even before the shoot and he had 13 facial stitches.

Vicky Kaushal was asked whether he was also injured during the shooting? In response, Vicky Kaushal told that four days before the shooting of ‘Sardar Udham’, he was badly injured during the shooting of another film and had 13 stitches on his face. Vicky says, ‘I had 13 stitches on my cheek. I took my photo and sent it to Shoojit da as we had to start shooting for Sardar Udham in four days.’

Vicky says that after seeing the photo, Shoojit Sircar told him, ‘No problem, come with stitches.’ Vicky Kaushal told that the injury marks seen on his face in the trailer are from the shooting of some other film. The actor told that he has many looks in the film, about which people will soon get information.’

The film is a biopic of Sardar Udham Singh, who was born on 26 December 1899 in Sunam village of Sangrur district of Punjab. The Jallianwala Bagh massacre took place on 13 April 1919 in front of Udham Singh. It is said that Udham Singh took the soil of Jallianwala Bagh in his hand and vowed to teach a lesson to General Dyer and then Governor of Punjab, Michael O’ Dwyer.

He joined the party of revolutionaries. He went to London to take revenge. There he fulfilled his promise. On 4 June 1940, Udham Singh was convicted of murder and hanged on 31 July 1940 in Pentonville Jail.
