Ustaad Bhagat Singh Box Office Collection Day 3: The box office clash between Ustaad Bhagat Singh and Dhurandhar 2 is becoming one-sided. While Ranveer Singh’s film is breaking records across India, Pawan Kalyan’s latest release is struggling to keep the same pace. Even with the Eid holiday advantage, the film did not show the expected jump on day 3, and its earnings remained much lower than its competitor.
Directed by Harish Shankar, the Telugu action drama released in theatres on March 19 along with Dhurandhar 2. The film opened well on the first day, but collections dropped soon after. Although there was slight growth on Saturday, it was not strong enough for a festive weekend. Trade experts believe the film now depends on Sunday numbers before the usual weekday drop begins.
Ustaad Bhagat Singh Box Office Collection Day 3
According to Sacnilk, Ustaad Bhagat Singh box office collection on day 3 was Rs 9.15 crore net in India. The film ran in around 3340 shows and recorded nearly 36% occupancy on Saturday. This was only a small increase from Friday’s Rs 9 crore, showing a growth of just 1.7%.
The film had earned Rs 34.75 crore on Thursday, but the sharp fall after that affected the overall trend. With the latest numbers, the three-day total stands at Rs 52.90 crore net in India. The film has crossed the Rs 50 crore mark, but the pace is slower than expected for a Pawan Kalyan release.
When compared with Dhurandhar 2, the difference is very clear. On the same day, the Hindi film collected more than Rs 113 crore. This means Ustaad Bhagat Singh earned nearly 12 times less despite the Eid holiday benefit.
The film is also behind Pawan Kalyan’s previous releases. Hari Hara Veera Mallu, which received mixed response, had collected Rs 64.65 crore in its first three days. Meanwhile, They Call Him OG (which opened to better reviews) earned Rs 121.70 crore in the same period.
DON'T MISS
Interestingly, Ustaad Bhagat Singh did perform better than the Telugu version of Dhurandhar 2, which collected around Rs 5 crore on day 3. However, the Hindi film had fewer shows in the language, running in about 1178 screens compared to more than 3000 shows for UBS.
With Sunday still remaining, the film has one more chance to improve its weekend total. After that, a drop during weekdays is expected, and recovery may become difficult if the trend does not change.

About The Film
Ustaad Bhagat Singh stars Pawan Kalyan as a strong and fearless police officer. The film also features Sreeleela and Raashii Khanna as the female leads. Supporting roles are played by Ashutosh Rana, Gautami, Pankaj Tripathi and R Parthiban.
The film is directed by Harish Shankar and produced by Mythri Movie Makers. It is made on a reported budget of around Rs 150 crore. The runtime of the film is 154 minutes, making it a full-length mass action entertainer.
There were rumours that the film was a remake of the Tamil hit Theri, starring Thalapathy Vijay. However, Harish Shankar clarified that the story was changed and developed into a new script specially written for Pawan Kalyan. According to the director, the similarities exist because both films are police stories, but the final version is not a direct remake.
With the weekend still in progress, it will be interesting to see whether Ustaad Bhagat Singh box office collection improves or if the clash with Dhurandhar 2 continues to affect its run.
