Many stars have performed on the stage of International Indian Film Academy Awards (IIFA) 2023 held in Abu Dhabi. Varun Dhawan's name is also included in this list. He danced to the mashup of the 'Shava Shava' song from 'Kabhi Khushi Kabhie Gham' and 'Garmi' song from the film 'Street Dancer 3D'. His 'Street Dancer 3D' co-star Nora Fatehi has also joined him in the performance. Both were seen performing a new version of her hook step from the song. Although, people had mixed reactions to this new version.

Varun Dhawan, Nora Fatehi dances on 'Garmi' with a twist
On Sunday (May 28), a video of Varun Dhawan's dance performance was shared on Reddit, which is now going viral. In the video, Varun is reacting as if he got electrocuted by touching the hands of the background dancers. The 'Bhediya' actor also gives a twist to the song 'Shava Shava' and is seen dancing to the song 'Say Garmi Garmi' by mashuping with the song 'Garmi'.
Amidst all this, Nora Fatehi reaches the stage to the tune of 'Kabhi Khushi Kabhi Gham' and both of them do a new version of the hook step from the song 'Garmi'.
