Fans had a sneak peek of Vicky Kaushal‘s intense change into Chhatrapati Sambhaji Maharaj in the upcoming historical film “Chaava.” A photo that was taken on the sets was released online and caused a stir among spectators.
Dhoti, Rudraksha, and Warrior Spirit
Vicky Kaushal appears in the leaked picture wearing a traditional dhoti-kurta. A scarlet gamcha fastened around his waist and a rudraksha mala (holy beads) decorate him. In an attempt to capture the warrior essence of Sambhaji Maharaj, Vicky Kaushal wears long hair with a bun, giving the appearance of a holy warrior. His appearance is further authenticated by the coating of bhabhuti (holy ash) applied to his forehead.
Chronicling the Life of a Legend
“Chaava” is a period drama that will chronicle the life of Chhatrapati Sambhaji Maharaj, the son of the Maratha Empire’s founder, Chhatrapati Shivaji Maharaj. The film will explore the bravery, sacrifices and wartime strategies of this legendary Maratha ruler.
Reunion with Rashmika Mandanna
Rashmika Mandanna and Vicky Kaushal will appear on film together in “Chaava.” Rashmika will play Yesubai Bhonsale, the wife of Sambhaji Maharaj. According to reports, both actors have already completed the shooting.
Directorial Duo Back Together
The Movie ‘Chaava’ is directed by Laxman Utekaar who had previously worked with Vicky Kaushal in the hit movie ‘Zara Hatke Zara Bachke.’ Fans are excited to see this successful collaboration once again.
