He took a long break from the industry and is now back with a new album. During the promotion of his new album, the singer and rapper mentioned the cost of the license plate on one of his vehicles. Honey Singh revealed that he spent Rs 28 lakh on a custom number plate for his Audi R8 supercar.

Honey Singh, or Yo Yo Honey Singh as his fans call him, had a penchant for expensive and exotic cars, just like any other Bollywood singer, actor, or producer. He had Audi Q5, Q7, Jaguar XF, and many other cars in his garage, but one of the most expensive cars in his garage was an Audi R8. Audi no longer manufactures Audi R8s, but when they were available, they were regarded as one of the most practical supercars to own. It had 160 mm of ground clearance and storage compartments in front and behind the seats.For a while, the R8 was Audi’s halo model in India. However, in 2019, the R8 was finally phased out of the market. The most recent price of an Audi R8 in India, ex-showroom, was approximately Rs 2.30 crore.
Obsessed with Audi R8’s licence plate
Honey Singh had this car in his garage for a while, and during the interview, he told the anchor that he used to love buying expensive cars and SUVs, but has since lost interest in them. He was so obsessed with his Audi R8’s licence plate that he paid around Rs 28 lakh for it. His Audi R8 was registered as MH 04 AR 8. He stated that he purchased the licence plate from Maharashtra because the number was R8. During his lengthy illness, the singer also stated that he has sold nearly all of the cars in his collection.
