Salman Khan’s upcoming collaboration with filmmaker duo Raj Nidimoru and Krishna DK has already created massive buzz among movie lovers. The untitled superhero entertainer recently grabbed headlines after reports claimed Kareena Kapoor Khan was being considered as the female lead opposite Salman Khan. However, a fresh update has now poured cold water on the speculation.
According to the latest reports, Kareena Kapoor has neither met the makers nor discussed the project with Salman Khan or Raj & DK so far. While fans were excited about the possibility of seeing Salman and Kareena reunite on the big screen once again, insiders now suggest that the casting process has not even begun yet.
No Talks Yet Between Salman Khan Team And Kareena Kapoor?
As per a report by Bollywood Hungama, the rumours about Kareena Kapoor joining the film are currently baseless. A source quoted by the portal revealed, “Kareena has not even met Raj and DK or Salman Khan. The script is still being written, and the makers will proceed to casting only towards the end of June. Right now, the only actor locked for the film is Salman Khan, and there has been no conversation around the female lead.”

The insider further added, “A call will be taken in June. It’s a good suggestion out of someone’s imagination to cast Kareena in the film, but unfortunately, there is no truth to the report.”

Over the years, Kareena Kapoor has shared screen space with all three Khans of Bollywood. However, her pairing with Salman Khan has especially been loved by audiences.
The duo worked together in films like Bodyguard, Kyon Ki and Main Aurr Mrs Khanna. Their chemistry in Bodyguard became particularly popular and helped the film emerge as a massive box office success.

What We Know About Salman Khan’s Raj & DK Film
The upcoming film is being produced by Atul Agnihotri and Mythri Movie Makers. Reports suggest that Salman Khan will play an aging superhero who is forced to return to action after unexpected events pull him into a much larger battle.
The project is also important for Raj & DK as it marks their return to theatrical cinema after A Gentleman in 2017. In recent years, the filmmaker duo earned huge praise in the OTT space with projects like The Family Man, Farzi, Citadel: Honey Bunny and Guns And Gulaabs.
Salman Khan is reportedly expected to begin shooting for the superhero entertainer around October or November 2026 after wrapping up work on Vamshi Paidipally’s next film.
The much-awaited project is currently targeting an Eid 2027 release. Meanwhile, Salman Khan is also gearing up for the release of his upcoming film Maatrubhumi, which stars Chitrangada Singh alongside him.
