Pop star and former One Direction member Zayn Malik and supermodel Gigi Hadid have welcomed a ‘beautiful, happy’ baby girl on weekend.
The couple shared the information via their social media accounts.
Taking to Twitter, the 27-year-old singer shared a black-and-white picture of his baby girl’s tiny hand holding his finger.
“Our baby girl is here, healthy & beautiful. To try put into words how I am feeling right now would be an impossible task. The love i feel for this tiny human is beyond my understanding.
“Grateful to know her, proud to call her mine, & thankful for the life we will have together,” he tweeted on Wednesday.
Gigi also took to her Instagram and shared a picture of their new-born clutching her father’s finger. “Our girl joined us earth-side this weekend and she’s already changed our world. So in love,” the 25-year-old model wrote.
Hadid confirmed the news of her pregnancy in April while appearing on the Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon.
Earlier this week, Hadid’s father Mohamed wrote in a caption on Instagram that he was “waiting patiently” for the baby.
Gigi and Zayn have had an on and off relationship since 2015. The couple after dating three-years split up in March 2018, but got back together. They again parted ways in January 2019, but started dating again in December.
