Cancer is a growing concern worldwide. In a recent video, cancer healer Dr Tarang Krishna discusses the alarming rise in cancer cases and highlights the top five countries with the highest numbers. He also explains the reasons behind this surge and India’s position in the global scenario.

Top 5 Countries With Highest Cancer Cases In 2025

Dr Krishna begins by revealing that these five countries alone account for over 50% of global cancer cases. He systematically lists them from first to fifth, explaining the specific risk factors that make cancer more common in each.

China

China ranks number one due to high pollution levels, widespread smoking habits, and Hepatitis infections. These factors have led to an increase in lung and liver cancers.

United States

In the United States, lifestyle-related cancers dominate. Processed food consumption, obesity, and alcohol use are identified as major contributors.

India

Dr Krishna highlights oral cancer (due to tobacco use), breast cancer, and cervical cancer as the most common forms affecting the population.

Japan

Japan has a high rate of stomach and liver cancers. Dr Krishna attributes this to diets high in salt and pickled foods, along with Hepatitis infections.

Russia

In Russia, smoking and alcohol consumption are very common, leading to higher instances of lung, throat, and liver cancers.

Dr Krishna expresses deep concern that India appears among these top five nations. As a cancer healer, he describes it as “painful” and urges joint efforts to fight cancer, hoping that one day “cancer remains only a zodiac sign, not a disease.” He ends the video with a positive message, urging viewers to take care of their health.

Global Cancer Burden

According to the World Health Organisation, cancer was a leading cause of death worldwide, causing nearly 10 million deaths in 2020. The most common cancers are breast, lung, colon and rectum and prostate cancers. Around one-third of cancer deaths are due to tobacco use, high body mass index, alcohol consumption, low fruit and vegetable intake and lack of physical activity. Air pollution is also a major risk factor for lung cancer.

In India, the cancer burden is rising. Among females, breast cancer is the most common, followed by cancers of the cervix, ovary and corpus uteri. Among males, lung, mouth and tongue cancers (mostly linked to tobacco use) are the most prevalent. Preventive measures are needed to reduce the future cancer burden.

Dr Krishna stresses the importance of early detection and lifestyle changes in fighting cancer. He encourages people to adopt healthier habits, undergo regular screenings, and raise awareness about cancer prevention.

By understanding the causes behind rising cancer cases and taking proactive steps, we can work to reduce the global cancer burden. Individuals and communities must stay informed and make choices that support better health outcomes.
