Covid-19 update: India sees 62,212 new cases, 837 fatalities in last 24-hour

India’s covid-19 tally has mountd to 74,32,681 with 62,21 fresh covid-19 cases in 24-hour. 837 deaths reported in last 24 hours have taken the death tally to 1,12,998.

According to the Indian Council of Medical Research, the total samples tested for COVID-19 in the country crossed the 9.2-crore mark.

A total of 9,22,54,927 samples have been tested in the country for COVID-19 till Thursday. This includes 10,28,622 samples tested on October 15.

As of Saturday morning, the total number of cases stood at 39,247,785 and the fatalities increased to 1,103,352, the University said.
