In addition, Perry experienced anxiety while filming Friends. He admitted to feeling as like he was having a near-death experience every single night while portraying Chandler in front of a live studio audience during the reunion special episode in 2021.

How to cope with anxiety and Drug abuse?

If we talk about coping with anxiety and drug abuse then only doctors can give useful information about this. In an interview, Dr. Kedar Tilwe, a consultant psychiatrist said that Alcohol is a recognized panicogen, which means that it can exacerbate and cause anxiety. He observed that while drinking alcohol can initially lift one’s spirits, excessive consumption can slow down brain function and depress the central nervous system, which can cause symptoms including coma, stupor, lack of coordination, and slurred speech.

Thus, it is advised to completely abstain from alcohol. According to Dr. Tilve, motivational intervention may assist in increasing a person’s drive to cut back or stop smoking. “Anti-craving medications can help with craving reduction, and medication can also help with withdrawal effects.”
