Haircare Tips: Five effective ways to keep your curls intact in monsoon

Haircare Tips: The rainy season brings relief in the sweltering heat, but the monsoon brings a lot of challenges for hair and skin. Hairfall and stickiness in the scalp become a common problem. But people who have curly hair have to face more issues in this season. Keeping curly hair lustrous and waves intact is tough. Today we have brought five tips which will help in maintaining the curls of your curly hair.

Shampoo your hair 2-3 times a week

To keep your scalp clean and hair shine, do shampoo 2 to 3 times a week. If the hair gets dirty then the curls will not form properly. There are many suitable shampoos available for curly hair to keep it shiny and soft.

Detangle your hair before shampooing

Never forget to detangle hair before shampooing. Curly hair tends to get tangled more and if you shampoo without combing then hairfall occurs and curls get damaged. Using fingers or a wide-tooth comb, detangle your hair so that curls form perfectly.

Avoid too much oiling

Avoid frequent oiling in the monsoon as it can damage curly hair. Instead of oil, you can use gel-based smoothening serum to keep hair frizz free.

Go for hair products according to your curl type

Choose hair products according to your curl type. Curly hair is divided into 4 categories type 1 to type 4. And there are a number of hair products available for each category of curls that should be used. If you are using any product then it can damage your curls.

Avoid hair colouring

Bleaching or colouring your hair in the monsoon can damage the curls. Bleach dehydrates the hair which can lead to other issues as well.
