The Health Ministry of India has shared a video on Twitter (now known as X) in which they have explained about the symptoms that can save you from the heat. You should take care of all the symptoms mentioned in this video so that you can live a healthy and good life. Take a look at the symptoms;

  • High temperatures can cause heat stress, which can lead to various heat-related illnesses.
  • Heat-related illnesses can range from mild (heat rash, heat cramps) to severe (heatstroke).
  • Symptoms of heat stress include dizziness, lightheadedness, excessive thirst and rapid breathing.
  • Heat stress can worsen chronic conditions such as heart, respiratory and kidney diseases.

Summer Diseases

It is crucial that you protect yourself from certain diseases because some are certain to arise in the summer. Common summertime illnesses include heat stroke, diarrhoea, measles/chicken pox, and typhoid. However, it is always preferable to prevent summertime illnesses by getting ready ahead of time rather than waiting for them to strike.
