Sadhguru Tips: Taking care of every aspect of our body is crucial. From caring for your skin to your gut, everything is important. However, Sadhguru suggested that there are a few areas where one must take active care of. For this to be achieved, an overall healthy lifestyle is crucial. Sadhguru talks about living at your highest potential not only through your body but also your mind and soul.
boosting your immunity
Sadhguru talks about getting involved with the soil in a very loving manner. Boosting your immunity is crucial to living strong. Therefore he suggests everyone connect to the earth by getting their hands dirty in the soil, be it by volunteering at someone's garden. The ones who do not want to be seen working on the soil, or do not want to be involved in such labour, can go for a mud bath.
Eating Raw food
Cooking any fruit, vegetable or sprout can kill the nutritious enzymes present in it. Sadhguru says that at least 40%-50% of all food should be consumed in its raw state. Additionally, he adds that these raw foods have enzymes that facilitate digestion. Therefore, cooked or processed food lacks very few healthy nutrients.
Take a shower before you sleep
Sadhguru advises you to take a cold shower before you sleep. It can be lukewarm, but should not be hot. This helps in relaxing the body of stress, which will lead to better sleep. Moreover, the human body is made up of 70% water, therefore, running water will not only purify the skin but also purify from within.
Detoxify Your Body: Drink water with care
Drinking a lot of water is important. However, Sadhguru suggests that drinking water from the tap right away might not be very beneficial. Instead, he suggests keeping the water stored in a pot for at least a day before drinking it. This helps the water get rid of all the impurities which will settle to the bottom of the pot.
Give your stomach a break
Lastly, he says that an empty stomach is good. Unlike hunger, an empty stomach can lead to better brain and body functioning. Therefore, he suggests at least an 8-hour gap between every meal
