The Eighth Central Pay Commission has announced that it will visit Chandigarh from September 16 to 18, 2026, to interact with stakeholders from Punjab, Haryana, Himachal Pradesh, and the Union Territory of Chandigarh.
8th Pay Commission to Hold Stakeholder Meetings in Chandigarh
According to an official notice issued by the Ministry of Finance, the Commission will hold discussions with representatives of Central Government and Union Territory organizations, institutions, associations, unions, individual employees, and Central Government pensioners from the four regions.
Stakeholders who wish to meet the Commission
Stakeholders who wish to meet the Commission must submit their appointment requests through the designated online portal on or before August 25, 2026. Applicants are required to include the Unique Memo ID generated after submitting their memorandum.
The Commission stated that the venue and the detailed schedule for the stakeholder interactions will be communicated at a later date.
The announcement was also shared through the official social media account of the 8th Pay Commission, encouraging eligible stakeholders to participate in the consultation process.
