Aam Aadmi Party (AAP) leader Anurag Dhanda has invited citizens to participate in the National Townhall on the E20 fuel policy, where former Delhi Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal is scheduled to address concerns related to ethanol-blended petrol.

In a post on social media, Dhanda claimed that several vehicle owners are facing issues with expensive automobiles allegedly being affected by the use of E20 fuel. He also criticized the Central Government, alleging that it continues to push the E20 fuel policy despite growing public concerns.

The National Townhall is being held on August 1 at 11:30 AM at the Constitution Club, New Delhi. Citizens who are unable to attend the event in person have also been invited to participate online through the campaign website.
According to Dhanda, the purpose of the townhall is to provide a platform for people to voice their concerns about E20 fuel and communicate them directly to the government. The event is expected to focus on discussions surrounding the impact of E20 petrol on vehicles, consumer concerns, and the future of India’s ethanol blending policy.
The Central Government has promoted E20 petrol as part of its broader strategy to reduce dependence on imported crude oil and increase the use of biofuels. However, debates continue over vehicle compatibility, maintenance costs, and the readiness of older automobiles for higher ethanol blends.
