Aadhar Card Update: The Unique Identification Authority of India (UIDAI) oversees Aadhaar, which captures and verifies the information of every resident Indian citizen. While many individuals may not be satisfied with their Aadhaar photograph, the process to change it is straightforward. Here’s a step-by-step guide:

  1. Visit UIDAI’s Official Website:
  • Go to the official UIDAI website.
  1. Download Aadhaar Enrolment Form:
  • Download the Aadhaar enrolment form from the homepage and take a printout.
  1. Fill in the Form:
  • Complete the form with all the required details.
  1. Visit Aadhaar Enrolment Centre:
  • Visit the nearest Aadhaar Enrolment Centre or Aadhaar Sewa Kendra.
  1. Submit Application Form:
  • Submit the filled application form to the officials at the enrolment centre.
  1. Provide Biometric Information:
  • Provide your biometric information during the visit.
  1. Capture Live Photograph:
  • Officials will capture your live photograph during the process.
  1. Receive Acknowledgment Slip:
  • Receive an acknowledgment slip with the Update Request Number (URN).

To check the status of the UIDAI Aadhaar update, use the provided Update Request Number (URN).

Fee for Photo Update:

  • A fee of Rs. 100 is applicable to update all Aadhaar data, including the photograph.

Note:

  • Biometric information, such as iris, fingerprints, and facial photographs, cannot be uploaded online.

Steps to Download Aadhaar Card after Photo Update:

  • Visit the official UIDAI website.
  • Click on “My Aadhaar” followed by “Download Aadhaar.”
  • Enter Aadhaar Number and captcha code.
  • Receive OTP on the registered mobile number.
  • Enter OTP and log in.
  • Click “Download Aadhaar” to get the updated Aadhaar Card.

By following these steps, users can easily update their Aadhaar photograph and download the updated Aadhaar Card with the new photo.
