Agniveer Army Rally: 14 aspirants found using fake documents

Agniveer Army Rally: At the recruitment rally of Agniveer in Hisar, Haryana 14 aspirants have been found using fake documents. An official statement said that on Friday they noticed the cases. The candidates have been alleged to use fake documents or fake admit cards to enter the recruitment drive for Agniveer.

The candidates were caught because of the strict and transparent checking in the recruitment process and now strict action will be taken against these candidates, the statement said. The recruitment will be conducted from August 12 to August 29, 2022, in Hisar, Haryana.

Under the Agnipath scheme, the recruitment rally in Ambala District of Haryana will start from October 25 to November 11 at Army Recruitment Headquarters and Kharga Stadium in Ambala Cantt, the government recently said. The recruitment will be conducted in 6 different districts- Ambala, Karnal, Kaithal, Yamunanagar, Kurukshetra, Panchkula, and the Chandigarh Union territory, an official statement said.

About Agnipath

Indian Army is conducting this rally under the Agnipath scheme that was launched by the central government on June 14, 2022, over the recruitment of soldiers for the Indian Army, Indian Navy, and Indian Airforce respectively on the contractual basis of a four-year term.

Candidates from the 17.5 to 21 years of age group can apply under this scheme and they will be tagged as Agniveer and merely 25% of them will continue the regular services.
