Amit Shah hits back at Congress, ‘When you point one finger at others, know that four other fingers are pointing at you’

Amit Shah: These statements by Union Home Minister Amit Shah on Wednesday not only summed up the BJP’s appropriate response to the Opposition but also the party’s blueprint for the 2024 elections. “When you point one finger at others, know that four other fingers are pointing at you,” he said. Speaking at the Rising India Summit, Shah mentioned the Sohrabuddin Sheikh encounter case that was brought against him when he was the home minister of Gujarat. I have experienced agency abuse, therefore let me explain how it happens, he stated.

I was detained by the Central Bureau of Investigation-Amit Shah

“We were not the subject of a corruption complaint from the Congress. While I served as Gujarat’s home minister, there was an encounter. I was detained by the Central Bureau of Investigation (CBI) after a case was filed against me.” Added him, “I was questioned why I was bothering them 90% of the time during my interview, and they threatened to leave if I mentioned Narendra Modi. Even then, we did not stage a protest, don all-black attire, or interfere with the work of Parliament. Against Modi, a SIT was established, which the Supreme Court itself dismissed.”

The court in Mumbai dismissed all charges against me

When discussing how he obtained bail, Shah said, “I was granted bail on the 90th day because the high court determined that the evidence against me was insufficient. The court in Mumbai dismissed all charges against me after observing that the CBI had filed a case against me as a result of political pressure.” Added the minister, “All of these individuals were present when this occurred. Manmohan Singh, Rahul Gandhi, Sonia Gandhi, and Chidambaram were all present.”
