During an interaction with the Indian diaspora in Kuwait, AIMIM MP Asaduddin Owaisi launched a sharp attack on Pakistan’s leadership, mocking them for sharing misleading visuals. Referring to a recent incident, Owaisi said, “Yesterday, the Pakistani Army chief gifted a photo to the Pakistani PM Shehbaz Sharif… these stupid jokers want to compete with India. They had given a photograph of a 2019 Chinese Army drill claiming it is a victory over India.”

Calling out the misrepresentation, Owaisi added, “‘Nakal karne ke liye akal chahiye’...inke pass akal bhi nahi hai (It takes brains to copy… they don’t even have that).” He further urged the public not to believe Pakistan’s claims, stating, “Whatever Pakistan is saying, do not take even with a pinch of salt.”
The Hyderabad MP’s comments come amid growing concerns over misinformation and strained relations between India and Pakistan.
The Hyderabad MP accused Pakistan of repeatedly resorting to propaganda and false narratives to distract from its internal failures. “They cannot handle their own country’s economic and political crisis, so they try to shift focus by targeting India with baseless claims,” he said.
Owaisi also emphasized India’s strength and global standing, stating that the country does not need to respond to “childish gimmicks.” “India has moved ahead in terms of economy, defence, and global diplomacy. What Pakistan is doing is not competition—it’s desperation,” he added.
Addressing the Indian diaspora, Owaisi urged citizens living abroad to counter misinformation and represent the real image of India. “We must expose such lies and uphold India’s dignity on the international stage,” he concluded.
The remark has sparked a stir on social media, with many applauding Owaisi’s candid take, while others questioned the tone of the statement coming from a sitting Member of Parliament.
