Ayodhya Ram Mandir: PM Modi to Participate in 84-Second Muhurta for Ram Lalla Pran Pratishtha Ceremony

Ayodhya Ram Mandir: About seven thousand dignitaries are expected to attend the great 'Pran Pratishtha' (consecration) ceremony of the Ram Lalla idol, which is set to take place on Monday, January 22. Under the timetable, Prime Minister Narendra Modi will participate in the 'Abhijit muhurta' from 12:29:03 pm to 12:30:35 pm, as the auspicious muhurta for the ritual will only run for 84 seconds.

PM Modi's Grand Arrival in Ayodhya

Prime Minister Narendra Modi will spend about four hours in Ayodhya today for the ceremony and accompanying events. The administration has disclosed that PM Modi's special flight is scheduled to arrive at the Ayodhya airport at 10:25 am. At 10.55 am, he will arrive at the "Ram Janmabhoomi" location from the airport.

PM Modi is going to take part in the 'Pran Pratishtha' of Ram Lalla's idol, which is going to happen at the 'Abhijit muhurta' from 12:29:03–12:30:35. The duration of the "auspicious muhurta" is limited to 84 seconds.

A Tapestry of Traditions in 'Pran Pratishtha'

Notably, scholar Ganeshwar Shastri Dravid of Varanasi chose the consecration time for the occasion. The 'Pran Pratishtha' event will feature over 150 saints and religious leaders from over 150 traditions, as well as 50 representatives from indigenous, forest-dwelling, coastal, island-dwelling, and tribal traditions.

Following the event, dignitaries will hear speeches from PM Modi, Chief Minister of Uttar Pradesh Yogi Aditynanath, and Chief of the RSS Mohan Bhagwat. Mahant Gopal Das, the head of the Shri Ram Janmabhoomi Teerth Kshetra Trust, will give the traditional speech after it. The Prime Minister will go to the 'Kuber Tila' in Ayodhya at approximately 2:10 pm, and then he will head back to Delhi.
