As there is Buddha Purnima tomorrow (12th May 2025), there is news of closure of schools, offices and many government departments. Banks are already closed for last two days due to Second Saturday and Sunday. Check whether banks will be closed tomorrow also. 

Are Banks Closed Tomorrow?

•    Banks in many states are closed. Customers need to check the schedule of their respective banks in their states. The bank holiday list can also be checked on RBI website which is available for public information. It shows region-wise details about closure. As banks are closed tomorrow in many parts of India, the bank closure will be continuous for three days starting May 10.
•    According to RBI holiday list, banks are closed in Tripura, Mizoram, Madhya Pradesh, Uttarakhand, Arunachal Pradesh, Jammu, Uttar Pradesh, Maharashtra, New Delhi, Chhattisgarh, Jharkhand, Himachal Pradesh, Jammu & Kashmir due to Buddha Purnima on May 12, 2025

What More Are Closed Tomorrow? 

All government schools, government are closed in almost every part of India.  Some private offices may also be closed or may operate for shorter duration. People are advised to plan their visits to government offices or departments accordingly. Also check announcements from private businesses for their working hours.
