Border Security Force detains Bangladeshi man attempting to enter India from Pakistan

New Delhi: According to a BSF official on Thursday, a Bangladeshi national was detained by the Border Security Force (BSF) as he attempted to cross the international border into India.

According to the official, the individual was captured on the night between March 8 and 9 in the vicinity of border station Rajatal in Punjab’s Amritsar sector.

BSF to take further action after capturing Bangladeshi national at border

He was shot at by BSF soldiers, who then took him into custody. He identified himself as a Bangladeshi national during initial interrogation, according to the BSF spokeswoman. He continued, “Additional questioning will be conducted and the next step of action will be taken.
