BSF seizes huge cache of arms, ammunition in Punjab

According to the officials, the Border Security Force (BSF) soldiers on Thursday found a bag near the zero line that included weapons and ammunition.

Three AK-47 rifles with six empty magazines, three mini-AK-47 rifles with five empty magazines, three pistols with six empty magazines, and 200 rounds of ammo were all found by the BSF.

Punjab Police has been alerted by the BSF for further action.

Four General Reserve Engineer Force workers were trapped under debris until Border Security Force personnel rescued them earlier today, according to officials, and one laborer died in the process.

Officials from the BSF Punjab Frontier said that “one laborer was deceased and the remaining four were admitted to Dhawan Nursing Home.”
