Canada has banned flights coming from India and Pakistan amid growing cases of corona virus. The Canadian administration has banned travelers coming from India and Pakistan for 30 days. It is reported that Covid has been confirmed among the passengers coming from these two countries and their number is high.
Transport Minister Omar Alkhabra informed that Covid-19 has been confirmed among the passengers traveling by air from India and Pakistan, so I have decided to cancel all commercial and private passenger flights coming from India and Pakistan for the next 30 days.
He further said that it is being implemented temporarily and a decision will be taken keeping in mind the condition of corona infection in future. He further said that this will not be applicable to cargo aircraft, so that the supply of vaccine, PPE kit and other essential goods can be met to meet the requirements.
Only 1.8% of outbound travelers are Corona positive
In the last 24 hours, more than three lakh cases of corona virus have been reported in the country, this is the figure of the day. Double mutants are being found in corona infection in India. Canadian Health Minister Patty Hajdu said that only 1.8 percent of the travelers coming from outside in the state were found to be corona infected.
He further said that Indians account for 20 per cent of Corona positive patients in all flights to Canada and the same is also with Pakistan. Therefore, travelers coming from these two countries have been banned. In December last year, Canada banned flights coming from Britain
