A farmer was allegdly injured and one more claimed that the attempt was made to run a car over him at the protest at an felicitation event of BJP MLA Sandeep Singh in Haryana’s Naraingarh.
Farmers started their agitation when BJP MP Nayab Saini from Kurukshetra and MLA Sandeep Singh were about to reach at the spot.
“Kurukshetra MP Nayab Saini and other party leaders, including state Mining Minister Mool Chand Sharma, were attending the event held at the Saini Bhawan in Naraingarh. The alleged incident happened at around 11.15am after the event concluded and the convoy of cars were exiting the area,” as saying by India Today.
The injured farmer, was identified as Bhavan Preet Singh who claimed in his FIR that he was run over by one of the cars belonging to MP Nayab Saini’s cavalcade.
The protesters are demanding an FIR against the vehicle’s owner.
