Delhi Unlocking: Metro-buses to run with 100% capacity from 26th July; Cinema halls, multiplexes will open with 50% capacity

The cases of corona virus have reduced a lot in the capital of the country, Delhi. Due to this, the Delhi Disaster Management Authority (DDMA) has given permission to operate metro and buses with 100% capacity from 5 am on July 26. Apart from this, relaxation has also been announced for cinema halls, theaters and multiplexes to work with 50% capacity.

However, the ban on standing passengers will continue to travel in the Delhi Metro. Apart from this, the number of guests in funeral and marriage has been kept limited to 100. At the same time, the Delhi government is not considering opening schools and colleges. DDMA has said in its statement that schools will not open yet and children’s education will continue online. Similarly, orders have been given to open restaurants and bars with 50 percent capacity.

Significantly, during the second wave of corona virus in the months of April and May, there was an increase in the cases of infection and deaths in Delhi. However, there has been improvement in the last few weeks, after which the government is reopening the city in a phased manner. Due to this, permission has also been given to conduct trade shows. But only business visitors will be able to attend these. The general audience will not be allowed to enter.
