Mohan Bhagwat: The head of the RSS, Mohan Bhagwat, emphasised on Friday that the Vedas recognise the numerous routes that people take to realise spiritual truth and claimed that the world needs to comprehend this at this time of turmoil. Speaking during the publication of an Urdu translation of the Samveda, one of the four Vedas that are regarded as the core teachings of Hinduism, Bhagwat noted that while different individuals may practise religion in various ways, the ultimate objective is the same.
Necessity of interfaith harmony
One should not quarrel over various methods, according to the top official of the Rashtriya Swayamsevak Sangh (RSS). This lesson is applicable to all people and is something that India can offer to other countries. Bhagwat stressed in his address that different individuals can interpret the same truth in different ways by using a variety of parables that were taken from ancient writings. He emphasised the necessity of interfaith harmony by saying that the one who guides everyone is called by various names.
