Ex-AAP councillor denied ticket, climbs tower, threatens to kill himself

MCD election: Aam Aadmi Party’s former councillor Haseeb-ul-Hasan, who was not given a party ticket for the upcoming MCD elections, resorted to extreme measure to express his resentment. He climbed a high-tension wire tower in front of Delhi’s Shastri Park metro station to protest against the alleged wrong policies of the party.

It was alleged that he was not given a ticket to contest the upcoming Delhi civic body polls. In frustration, he climbed the high tension wire and threatened to die by suicide.
