Delhi Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal met farmers sitting on dharna on Indus border on Monday. Chief Minister Kejriwal met the farmers at the Guru Tegh Bahadur Memorial on the Indus border and reviewed the arrangements made for them. CM Arvind Kejriwal said that I have not come here as a Chief Minister, but as a Sevadar here. We stand with them in the service of all farmers. I have come here to visit and take stock of all the necessary facilities.
Arvind Kejriwal said that toilets have been provided here for the farmers. Its cleanliness is fine. On the other hand, water arrangements have been made. Farmers are telling that the water is not able to reach inside, so today we will take motor and pipe to take water inside. We have also seen the living arrangements of the farmers, which is correct. Also the arrangement of kitchen etc. is also fine. The farmers are completely satisfied with the arrangements made by the Aam Aadmi Party government in Delhi. I am in constant touch with the farmers. Our senior leader and MLA Jarnail Singh remains here continuously.
Kejriwal was accompanied by members of his cabinet and some party MLAs during a brief visit to the protest venue on the Delhi-Haryana border. Kejriwal said, "I took stock of the arrangements. There was a lot of pressure on us to allow the stadiums to be used as temporary jails but we did not give permission and I think it aided the movement. Since then The MLAs and ministers of our party are working to ensure that farmers do not face any kind of problems. ”
He told reporters, "We are acting like a sevadar. I have come here not as a chief minister but as a sevadar to serve the farmers. It is our responsibility to support the farmers."
