Fog Update: The national capital and North India is currently experiencing dense fog. The weather agency, though, expects the pattern to shift. In coming weekend, the effect is likely to increase with the effect of coldwave increasing as wells. The IMD predicts that in the following days, dense to extremely dense fog is anticipated to be present in many areas of Delhi. Lucknow is experiencing dense fog as well.
According to the IMD, dense fog will also be present in the states of Uttarakhand, Punjab, Haryana, Chandigarh, and West Rajasthan during the next 24 hours, while it will be present in East Rajasthan and west Uttar Pradesh too.

Delhi
Though the dense fog is likely to grip the national capital in the morning. The day is predicted to be clear and better. Though, the early morning hours and late nights will continue to create problems for the natives. IMD has predicted the visibility to be of 200M in the morning today.
Lucknow
Uttar Pradesh's capital is experiencing dense fog than the whole nearby region. Neighbouring city Kanpur is no better as the fog will continue to be there till the noon. For today, IMD has predicted the visibility to be 400M.

Jaipur
After several weeks of just coolness, IMD has predicted that Rajasthan's capital too will experience fog today. As per the reports, the visibility will dip to 400M in the early morning. This also marks that this season won't be fog-free for the city, as predicted otherwise earlier.
Amritsar
The visibility for Amritsar is likely to dip upto 200M. The city will continue to experience similar weather pattern and condition for several upcoming days. However, the day is predicted to get better as soon as the noon draws near.
