Fog update: The IMD has predicted severe to extremely dense fog for several areas of Punjab, Haryana, Chandigarh, and Delhi on January 14 as well as for a few scattered pockets across Uttar Pradesh and Bihar. Along with cool day weather, dense fog is also anticipated in a few isolated areas across Bihar, Himachal Pradesh, Uttarakhand, and Odisha. The IMD reported that cold wave to severe cold wave conditions were "quite possible" in several areas of north Rajasthan as well as in a few scattered pockets over Himachal Pradesh, Uttarakhand, Punjab, Haryana, and Chandigarh.

Delhi

As per IMD, the national capital will once again see thick fog blanketing the region. Along with the predicted severe coldwave, dense fog is also predicted to take on the city. The visibility in the morning today will range below 200 metres. However, it is likely to increase upto 400M after early morning.

Lucknow

Uttar Pradesh's capital is predicted to reel under the blanket of dense fog in the morning today. As per the latest fog update, the visibility in the city will be 50 metres during the early morning and will increase only after the morning.

Jaipur

Jaipur will have haze and mist effect throughout the day across the city. However, the mornings are predicted to remain within the gulf of shallow fog. The visibility is likely to be 600 metres in the morning.

Amritsar

The fog update for Amritsar are not in favourable circumstances. After dense fog in the last night, the city will continue to remain under the thick blanket of fog with visibility dipping up to 50 metres in the morning. Situations are likely to get better only during the afternoon.
