Fog Update: People in the North have finally received the much-needed relief from fog, which was causing disruptions in daily life. Though, it has not gotten over, but, the intensity have been reduced. Though, Lucknow and Surrounding regions still continue to get moderate fog in the morning. A shift in the conditions is predicted with the rains and hailstorms coming to lash the North in the next week.
As per the latest fog update by IMD, the majority of North India will remain engulfed in partial fog throughout the early morning hours. Though, relief too has been predicted as the noon approaches near. Read below to know the region-wise fog update.

Delhi
IMD has predicted that the national capital will reel under shallow fog in the morning and the situation will improve later. As per the latest update, the visibility in the morning today will be 800 metres and will then improve to 1500 metres after the early morning hours.
Lucknow
Fog will be denser in the morning today, in comparison to the previous days. As per the IMD, the visibility will drop upto 200 metres and then will climb up to 400 metres after the morning. The surrounding cities will be equally affected by the fog.

Jaipur
According to the most recent IMD fog advisory, Jaipur is anticipated to remain fog-free. Locals report that this season has been mostly clear with only a few days of fog so far.
Amritsar
Similar to Lucknow, Amritsar too is predicted to be affected by the fog in much more intensity in comparison to previous days. The morning visibility will go down by 300 metres and will improve to 600 metres later.
