Ghaziabad RapidX Launch: The first section of India’s Regional Rapid Transit System (RRTS) train network will be inaugurated by Prime Minister Narendra Modi between Sahibabad station and Duhai Depot, which are both located in the National Capital Region (NCR). He will also be speaking at a Sahibabad public meeting. The “Namo Bharat” RapidX train will shorten the distance between Sahibabad and Duhai Depot by 12 minutes.
German Ambassador Ackermann Hails RapidX
Philipp Ackermann, the German ambassador to India, expressed his gratitude and privilege at being there at RapidX’s launch. He said, “I am very honoured and privileged to be here today…It is a fabulous project, the fastest train in India so far. It’s a shuttle train that comes under NCRTC from Meerut to Delhi. It runs at a speed of 160 km/hr. It is run and operated by a German rail company Deutsche Bahn.”
Ali Hasan Delights in India’s High-Speed Rail Milestone
The operation and maintenance department’s assistant manager, Ali Hasan, states, “We are all very happy with the high-speed rail that the Prime Minister will flag off.” It’s a huge accomplishment. It will be incredible to see the train travel at 160 km/h.
