Haryana: An anonymous group of people cut off a man’s hand yesterday in Kurukshetra, Haryana. The offender allegedly later removed the hand, according to the police. Jugnu, as he is called, has been admitted to the Lok Nayak Jay Prakash Narayan Hospital and is in a critical condition, according to authorities. Police are looking over CCTV.
The occurrence is the subject of an investigation at the moment. The scene was at Kurukshetra Haveli, close to Sadar Police Station. Officials claim that they are searching through CCTV footage to identify the offender.

Police report that 10–12 males attacked the victim.
DSP Ramdutt Nain stated, “Ten to twelve men with their faces covered entered the Kurukshetra Haveli, and attacked the victim Jugnu and chopped off his hand. The exact reason behind the incident is not clear.” “His statement will be written down, and a case will be opened as a result. Moreover, CCTV footage will be examined, ” added he.

Eyewitness testimony
Eyewitnesses claim that while the victim was sitting outside the Kurukshetra Haveli, 10–12 men attacked him with sharp objects.
