India at UNGA Referred To Mumbai Attack As Retaliation For Pakistani PM’s UN “Peace” Remark

India at UNGA: The Pakistani prime minister, Shehbaz Sharif, came under fire from the government on Saturday for his anti-India rant at the UNGA’s 77th session.
Shehbaz Sharif’s assertions regarding the Kashmir issue were deemed incorrect by the first secretary of the Indian Mission to the UN, Mijito Vinito, who also charged Islamabad with engaging in “cross-border terrorism.”

“It is regretful that the Pakistani Prime Minister picked this assembly’s platform to level unfounded accusations against India. He has done so to cover up wrongdoings in his own nation and to defend acts taken against India “said Mr. Vinito.

In an apparent allusion to terrorist Dawood Ibrahim, he vowed that the nation will never provide sanctuary to those responsible for the 1993 Mumbai bombings.

Such a nation, according to Mr. Vinito, would not assert illegitimate and untenable territorial claims against its neighbours.

“A government that declares it wants to live in harmony with its neighbours would never support international terrorism. The horrifying Mumbai terrorist attack’s planners, who only revealed their presence in response to pressure from the world community, would also not be protected there “added Mr. Vinito.

Mr. Vinito reaffirmed India’s position that it wants cordial relations with Pakistan as a neighbour in an atmosphere free of terrorism, animosity, and violence. Jammu & Kashmir “was, is, and shall forever” remain an integral part of India, the country has insisted.

In reference to the recent forced marriages and abductions of girls from Hindu, Sikh, and Christian families in Pakistan, India stated it is ironic that the nation is lecturing on a global platform about minorities while committing “severe violations of minority rights.”

“There is a genuine desire for growth, security, and peace across the Indian subcontinent. It’s also widely disseminated. Cross-border terrorism will end, governments will be honest with their citizens and the international community, minorities will not be oppressed, and last but not least, we will acknowledge these truths in front of this Assembly “added Mr. Vinito.

Islamabad wants peace with all of its neighbours, including India, the Pakistani prime minister stated on Friday, but this can only happen after a “fair and sustainable solution to the Kashmir dispute.”
According to Mr. Sharif, regional tensions have increased as a result of India’s “illegal and unilateral” attempts to remove the special status of Jammu and Kashmir.

“It’s time, in my opinion, for India to hear loud and clear that both nations are heavily armed. There is no room for war. There isn’t a choice. These concerns can only be solved via peaceful discourse, “Added he.
