Ericsson’s Presence in India’s 5G Ecosystem

India has a large pool of skilled software developers, according to Ekholm, who was speaking about India as a commercial destination. “It would propel India’s growth to the next level, making it a crucial market for us. Around 25,000 people work for us in this nation already. Our position in R&D, software development, service provision, automation, and all of those sectors is growing and getting stronger. We offer the essential hardware, software, and infrastructure needed to develop the 5G network. Thus, we’re quite enthusiastic about our presence in India.

Low Latency and Improved User Experience

Importantly, Indian telecom service providers began offering fast 5G services in the nation starting in October 2022. In August 2022, the government sent letters to telecom service providers requesting them to get ready for the launch of 5G services in the nation. From the 5G spectrum auction, the Department of Telecom has received total bids of Rs. 1.50 lakh crore.

Ericsson’s Optimism about India’s 5G Future

The term “low latency” refers to the effectiveness of processing a large number of data messages with little delay.
