Indian Railways: What is the approximate cost of travelling from Thiruvananthapuram to Jammu and Kashmir? Definitely not several lakhs of rupees. For less than Rs 30,000, you can now take a train from the south to the north of this country and see all the main tourist attractions along the way. Travel aficionados may now enjoy an exciting new package from the Indian Railway Catering and Tourism Corporation (IRCTC) that includes a 13-day pan-India visit.
Your Gateway to Affordable Tourism
The Bharat Gaurav train, which is renowned for its inexpensive travel to tourist sites, would be providing the journey on its third AC and sleeper class coaches. “North Western Delight with Vaishnodevi,” the new package’s name, will span 12 nights and 13 days. Starting on November 19, the trip will end on December 1. There are 754 seats available on the train, with 210 seats in the comfort class and 544 in the regular class. For Rs 26,310, one can reserve regular seats, which include sleeper class transportation, non-airconditioned cars for travelling to and from the stations, AC rooms shared by three people for an overnight stay, etc.
Ticket Pricing for Children
Children between the ages of five and eleven will pay Rs 24,600 for their tickets. Comfort class seats provide travel in a three-tier AC coach, non-airconditioned vehicles for transfers, and triple-sharing AC rooms at low-cost motels, among other benefits. Adult tickets cost Rs 39,240, while children’s tickets cost Rs 37,530. In addition, morning tea, a vegetarian breakfast, midday meals, and dinner are included in the package. To help the visitors, the IRCTC tour managers will be present on board the train.
Stops on the Bharat Gaurav Journey
The package does not cover the cost of admission to some sites or the services of tour guides. In addition to Mangaluru in Karnataka, the train would feature boarding and de-boarding locations at Kochuveli, Kollam, Chengannur, Kottayam, Ernakulam Town, Thrissur, Shoranur Junction, Kozhikode, and Kannur. Many locations, such as Ahmedabad, the Statue of Unity, Jaipur, the Vaishnodevi temple, Amritsar, etc., will be visited by the passengers. Passengers will be escorted to the Adalaj step-well, Motera Sun Temple, Akshardham Temple, and Sabarmati Ashram in Ahmedabad.
Exploring Jaipur’s Rich Heritage
The Jaipur City Palace, Hawa Mahal, Amer Fort, and other tourist destinations will be discussed. There will be quick stops at the Golden Temple, Jallianwalla Bagh, the Wagah-Attari Border, and other locations during the stopover in Amritsar.
