International Tiger Day 2023: On July 29, the world came together to celebrate International Tiger Day, an annual event dedicated to raising awareness about tiger conservation efforts and the importance of protecting these majestic creature. Tigers have faced significant threats to their survival, including habitat loss, poaching and human-wildlife contact. However, the day serves as a reminder of the global efforts being undertaken to protect and preserve these iconic creature. Indian Efforts in Conservation

Over the years, however, tiger population in India too has faced severe threats.
