Khajuraho Fest to begins on Feb 20, delegates of G-20 to attend the event

The Khajuraho International Dance Festival to be held in Khajuraho and the meetings of the G-20 group will take place simultaneously. Hundreds of foreign guests, foreign delegates and political representatives coming from abroad for the summit will also participate in both the events. District administration and local administration are busy in preparations. It is the endeavor of the administration that the foreign guests participating in the event go back to their country after taking a good message from Khajuraho.

International Dance Festival will be held in Khajuraho from 20 to 26 February. The dance festival will be organized in the temple premises. State Governor Mangu Bhai Patel will inaugurate the event. Meanwhile, meetings related to culture and art of the G-20 group will be held in Khajuraho. For both the big events to be held in Khajuraho, the district administration, police administration and all the departments of the government are engaged in preparations as a team. Officials of Ustad Allauddin Khan Sangeet and Kala Akademi and social workers along with the local administration are looking at the strategy and preparations for the dance festival.

Responsibilities of welcoming foreign guests, hospitality divided

Collector Sandeep GR took stock of the preparations for the meeting last day regarding the event. The collector said that the foreign guests who have come due to the G-20 event should take a good message from the tourist destination along with participating in the programme. For this, create awareness among all the residents, traders, shopkeepers and trouble trade people by connecting them with the event.
