LTC Extension: The Central Government has given its employees two more years to use their Leave Travel Concession (LTC) to visit Jammu and Kashmir, Ladakh, the Andaman and Nicobar Islands, and the Northeast. Employees of the Central Government who are eligible will get paid leave for both travel tickets and LTC travel.
Two years were added to the LTC facility
In the order from the Central Government, it says that this program will continue for two more years, from September 26, 2022, to September 25, 2024. People who work for the government but aren’t allowed to fly have also been given the chance to go to the Northeast, the Andaman and Nicobar Islands, Jammu and Kashmir, and Ladakh in economy class.

Before, it was supposed to end in 2020
But the ministry also told the workers that any abuse of LTC would be taken very seriously, and the right steps would be taken. It is known that the central government had already added two years to the period span that this advantage was available to central employees in 2020.

Employees of Central Government got benefits
Explain that under the Leave Travel Concession, the Central Government pays back eligible employees for their travel and travel tickets, as well as gives them paid leave when they use their LTC. Under this plan, central employees will also be able to use a private airline to travel to these areas.
