Ludo game affair: Man meets Pakistani girl online, brings her to India via Nepal, arrested

Ludo game affair: Online ludo game brought Mulayam Singh Yadav, a resident of Uttar Pradesh, in contact with a Pakistani girl. They fell in love and decided to get married. As it was tough for the girl to reach India, Mulayam brought her in via Nepal for marriage. Police arrested both in Bangaluru. Police on Monday said they had arrested 26-year-old Mulayam Singh Yadav for allegedly bringing a Pakistani girl to India illegally and living with her in the city.

Mulayam worked as a security guard in Bangaluru. According to Whitefield DCP S Girish, Mulayam came in contact with a minor girl from Hyderabad, Pakistan, through an online game of ludo.

The DCP said, ‘This person, identified as Mulayam Singh Yadav, used to work as a security guard in a private firm and used to play Ludo online. Last year, while playing an online game, he came in contact with a minor girl from Pakistan. Recently he asked his Pakistani girlfriend to come to Bangaluru so that both of them could get married. After this, Mulayam made a plan to bring the girl to India via Nepal and called her here in September 2022.

Case against landlord

The couple had rented a labor quarter in Bellandur police station area. The DCP said that as soon as information was received about the two, the police took action and handed over the girl to the FRRO (Foreigner Regional Registration Office). A case was registered against the boy and he too was arrested.

The police also registered a case against Govinda Reddy, owner of the house where the couple stayed. An FIR was registered under Section 7 against Reddy. His crime was that he did not inform the police about the foreign girl living illegally in his house.

Mulayam Singh was booked under sections 420 (cheating), 495 (concealment of marriage), 468 (forgery) and 471 (forgery document) of IPC.
