Madhya Pradesh: Woman cop on duty saves man’s life after he collapses on road

Madhya Pradesh: According to reports, a guy in Gwalior fainted on the road and needed cardiopulmonary resuscitation (CPR), which was performed by a female police officer who was on duty, according to authorities.

What did the official inform about the incident?

I was working at a checkpoint next to a temple, according to Sonam Prasar, Subedar Traffic Police. A boy ran to me as I was performing my duty. He reported that a man was laying motionless on the highway. He was lying on the road unconscious when I arrived at the scene. There wasn’t any motion.

“During our training, we were taught how to deal with such emergency-like situations. So I immediately decided to give him CPR,” she stated.

‘He app0arently experienced chest pain. As soon as I started the CPR, he started to regain consciousness,” the female officer reported.

I questioned him about his feelings once he came to. “I am reeling under the pain.” he declared.

‘First medical aid (CPR) to such patients helps to save them before being admitted to hospital for further treatment,” she continued.

The police have named the individual as Anil Upadhyay, a local resident.

Locals were also observed racing to the scene to save his life. Later, the man was checked into a hospital.

The man is fine and has been discharged from the hospital

“I spoke with him over the phone and enquired about his health. His Electrocardiogram (ECG) has been conducted. He is fine. He has been discharged now,” Sonam continued.

The family of Upadhyay has “thanked” the policewoman for sparing his life.

‘They were very happy. That I have saved the life of a member of their family. They gave their blessings and best wishes to me,” said Sonam. Adding, “We are also humans. Our job is to serve the people of this country. We always keep this in our mind.”
